Movie Review

The Odd Life of Timothy Green is, well, odd. It’s a garden variety wish-fulfillment story with an undercurrent of weirdness, but it does tug at your heartstrings. A lot. It will bring tears to your eyes, in places. The fantasy elements are handled with very little fanfare, and no CGI, leaving the film to simply rely on the story.

The things this movie does well it does very well indeed. Cindy and Jim Green are incredibly earnest and well-intentioned, the parents every kid wishes he had. They try so hard. When Timothy comes into their lives, mistakes or not, lots of love is involved.
